A lover of beauty and an epicurean at heart, Olivier Maréchal, 35, is already a fan of gourmet beauty shot cures. He discovered them on phyltres.com and plans to repeat the experience to stay at his best.

Born into a family of actors and a gallerist for 12 years, Olivier Maréchal co-founded OA Fine Art with Latvian partner Anna Nevicka, opening the gallery last February in Paris’ 8th district. A showcase for international artists whose work seeks beauty in sculpture, painting and photography. Eclectic, curious and open to the world, Olivier values every artistic field: “specialization isolates,” he says. Raised by grandparents who shared their love for theater, art shows and books, and guided by mentors who encouraged him to learn throughout life, Olivier enriches himself with all he receives. The artists he represents, met in their studios, at openings, fairs or on Instagram, have one thing in common: “they move and surprise me with the unique skill in their work.”

Émeric Chantier, a French artist known worldwide for his work with plant material, has touched Olivier’s soul. “Each piece is a unique composition, honoring antique sculpture and a nature that always pushes beyond its form.” A delicate craft that takes 2 to 3 months per piece to stabilize organic matter (soil, roots, flowers…). With British photographer Nick Veasey, who works with X-ray images, Olivier was struck by the “inner journey” offered by the artist, far from surface appearances. “A collector introduced me to his work and his studio, a real bunker.” French pop-artist Jisbar takes him into a movement or era whose symbols he decodes, revisits and modernizes with humor.
Skincare for men
With the same taste for new ideas, Olivier discovered Phyltres online. “The brand’s approach won me over right away: the blend of gastronomy and beauty in products that you drink and taste good. There are very few innovative things for men. Until now, men’s skincare felt like a copy of women’s.” After the holidays, the thirst for calm is what caught his eye. “I loved the recipe with the chef’s free expression, the balance of French flavors around rose, and the true complexity of the formula.” Rejecting fish-flavored capsules and long 30-day cures with no visible benefit, Olivier lived this 7-day ritual as a sensory experience with real impact on his well-being. “After two days, my features were already more relaxed,” he says. At the end of his week-long cure, his wife returning from a trip, clearly noticed his glow. “As a gallerist, I must be worthy of the beauty I represent, and like in many fields, we must offer the best version of ourselves.” For his next international fair in March, Olivier has already planned a second “thirst” cure one week before the event.

The gallery also organizes events, custom exhibitions and takes part in international fairs. This in situ approach aims to present artworks directly to art lovers, collectors and companies, so they can benefit from the educational, unifying and liberating power of contemporary art.
