For the past five years, Axelle Fradet has expertly managed the spa at the Burgundy Hotel in Paris. She recently chose to offer Phyltres’ drinkable beauty cures, as a complement to body treatments.

Burgundy Hotel Spa treatment rooms

Spa Manager at the Burgundy since November 2018, the radiant Axelle Fradet still has stars in her eyes (five, to be exact) when she speaks about luxury hospitality. “I started as a spa therapist, then worked my way up. I’ve been in luxury hotel spas for eight years. I worked at the Mandarin Oriental Palace and at Saint-James Paris Relais & Châteaux before taking charge of this beautiful wellness space in the heart of Paris,” she explains. Located just a few hundred meters from Place de la Concorde, Place de la Madeleine, the Tuileries Garden and the Louvre, the Burgundy holds a prime place in the hearts of visitors - including many fashion week regulars.

100% personalized care

Reception room of the Burgundy Spa

Covering 250 m², decorated with soft tones and noble materials, the spa is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. for hotel guests and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for external clients. “Our guests enjoy the facilities (15 m pool, sauna, hammam, gym) to relax and take time for themselves,” says Axelle. But it’s in the treatment rooms (including a duo room) that they come for a true wellness experience. The Burgundy offers signature treatments known for their massage quality and multi-sensory approach. “Clients choose their scent and texture for the massage, and we personalize it 100% based on their needs.” Most clients are Parisians, many of whom book duo treatments (couples, mother/daughter, friends) after enjoying the sport facilities, access is included in the treatment.

A brand with values

For Axelle, well-being is a state of mind, nourished by meditation, yoga, personal development, nature and holistic care. To give the spa’s offer a deeper dimension, she chose to introduce Phyltres’ drinkable beauty cures. “It’s a French and natural brand that works effectively on beauty from within, thanks to an exceptional flower: the rose. Its values - naturality, eco-responsibility and traceability - along with its French origin and production, matter to us. Like us, it promotes a certain French art of living.”

Burgundy, whose wine is its greatest ambassador and the rose from Aquitaine were clearly meant to meet.
