This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit or make a purchase on phyltres.com (the « Site »).
Personal information collected
When you browse our Site, in order to provide you with the best possible service, we may collect several types of information, especially:
when ordering or creating your User account: your name, contact details (address, email address, telephone number) and information on your credit card.
when placing an order: the delivery address(es) entered, the username and password associated with your account and the history of your product selection and your actions on our Site.
during any request for information, any email addressed to our customer service, subscription to our newsletter or any other service, participation in a contest, vote for a product or review posted: your name, your contact details and any other information such as your age, your areas of interest and your preferred products.
during any visit to the Site: your internet location (IP address, domain name of .fr or .com type, original URL), the browser used, the country and the telephone prefix of your computer, the pages of our Site you visited during your visit, the advertisements you clicked on and any searches you carried out.
we may collect this information even if you do not have a User account with us.
finally, we can obtain customer lists from third parties in order to invite new people to share the phyltres.com experience. However, these lists only include people who have consented to receive promotional emails. In any case, all our emails include an unsubscribe option.
How do we use your personal information?

When creating your user account, or when you place an order, we record information about you intended for PHYLTRES SAS, responsible for data processing, in order to carry out all operations relating to our commercial relationship, namely the creation of your account, the methods of payment, delivery, management of complaints and after-sales service, to provide you with the services to which you subscribe and to send you PHYLTRES offers.
You can opt out of receiving emails from us at any time. Instructions for unsubscribing from our lists are at the bottom of all our emails.
All sensitive / payment data provided by Users is transmitted by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol and encrypted in our database. They can only be consulted by authorised persons, who have specific access rights to our systems and are required to keep this information confidential.
After a transaction, your private data will not be kept.

Furthermore, if you are a European resident, note that we process your information for the purpose of fulfilling our contractual obligations towards you (for example if you place an order on the Site) or to pursue our legitimate business interests, listed above. Terms and conditions for the use of customer reviews
Review verification and verified review badge
Judge.me automatically verifies reviews based on customer order history. A "verified" badge is added once the review has been verified by Judge.me with the customer-reviewer. This badge can be translated or customized but cannot be added by the brand.
Requesting/giving a review
A review request is automatically sent by e-mail 14 days after a customer's order, which may be followed by reminders or notifications to submit a review on the ordered product. The review can also be submitted by the customer directly on the online shop - "Web review" - in the product presentation sheet of the product concerned in the section entitled "Write a review". It is subject to strictly identical rules of verification and publication. However, a "web review" will never receive a "verified" badge if the reviewer's e-mail address is not on the shop's customer list. New reviews are published automatically upon receipt. The brand then has the option of responding to the review in private or in public.
Review modification policy
Reviews may be edited to resolve spelling errors, formatting issues, or minor review information. However, star ratings cannot be changed to maintain the integrity of reviews on Judge.me. After a change is made, an email is sent to the reviewer informing them of any changes. The reviewer can then reject any changes by clicking in the notification email. Judge.me is informed of all review changes and review refusals.
Transparency and authenticity
Judge.me medals are awarded to online shops as proof of their transparency and authenticity. Shops receive transparency medals if they publish at least 80% of the total verified reviews they receive, and shops receive authenticity medals if at least 80% of the reviews they publish are verified reviews.
Reasons for rejecting a review
- no correspondence between the rating and the comment
- the content of the review is random or poorly written to the point of being unintelligible
- the description of the product's characteristics is not filled in
- the review is unrelated to the product being reviewed
- the review contains personal information or any other information that could lead to identity theft (surname, first name, telephone number, a precise physical address or email address, payment method number, etc.)
- the review relates to the purchasing experience (delivery, website) and not to the product being reviewed
- the review encourages the purchase from a competitor
- the content indicates that the reviewer has not yet tested the product
- the review contains insults or profanity
- attributes of the review contain elements of conflict of interest
- a reviewer makes an inappropriate comment about another review or its author
- the review contains a call for legal action
customer service has intervened in the handling of the dispute, the customer is asked to update their review - the reviewer has asked the brand to remove or modify its review
- the brand considers that it may be liable under civil or criminal law
Modifications
We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
