In a few soft words

Pocket spray – 15 ml A stroll through a hillside rose garden at sunset… At that hour when the flowers, bathed in summer sunlight, release their soft, voluptuous fragrance before drifting into slumber. This refined, enveloping, and sensual rose is a fragrance inspired by the tenderness of the skin, with fruity top notes and a floral heart. In the dry down, vanilla adds a comforting touch, offering an immediate feeling of well-being.

Benefits

A breath of rose is a home fragrance composed of french Damask rose and made in France. Its olfactory raw materials are responsibly sourced and rigorously traceable. Created by Éléonore de Staël, top graduate of the Grasse Institute of Perfumery in 2015 and author of exclusive fragrances, a breath of rose is diffused through a beautiful glass spray bottle with a golden cap.

Usage tips

Spray a touch of rose whenever you wish, at half an arm’s length. Tucked into your handbag, it offers a deep breath of calm between meetings. With one or two spritzes, it fills your living spaces with a delicate ambience. Placed on your bedside table, it becomes a pillow mist, wrapping your dreams in a gentle veil of rose.

Have a question? Find the answer below

Does natural skincare have a bad reputation for its scent?

That was 10 years ago! Laboratories have made tremendous progress in softening the natural plant scents that tend to age poorly, as well as the oils that can alter over time.

But with a star ingredient like Damask rose and the addition of a 100% natural fragrance in our facial care products, you’ll have to resist the temptation to use your bottle or your skin several times a day.

Indeed, Éléonore de Staël and Jean-Charles Sommerard, both internationally renowned perfumers, have each created an exclusive olfactory signature for Phyltres: Electric Rose and Sparkling Rose.

Two fragrances with green and sweet notes.

Are natural skincare products ineffective?

That’s completely false. In addition to being water-free and free from any controversial or toxic ingredients (such as parabens, PEGs, etc.) for both health and the environment, our treatments contain precious and rare actives with proven properties. Formulated in collaboration with two French laboratories specializing in natural cosmetics, our technical and sensorial products have been tested by consumer panels.

Their effectiveness has been demonstrated through clinical and dermatological tests carried out by independent laboratories. Certified Cosmebio*, our formulations are both effective and safe for the skin.

On that note, a study published in July 2019 by Cosmébio, using corneometry measurements, showed that organic skincare delivers better moisturizing efficacy than conventional skincare. After 4 hours, hydration levels increased by 44.5% for the organic product versus 19.8% for the conventional one. After 8 hours, hydration increased by 36% for the organic product, compared with 20.3% for the conventional one.

Rose contains allergens. Is there any risk in using cosmetics made from this exceptional flower?

Yes, this magnificent flower does contain allergenic components (such as citronellol and geraniol) — which, in fact, are omnipresent in nature! These active molecules are the very source of its renowned benefits, known since Antiquity: hydrating and soothing, anti-aging, toning, and purifying (source: Cosmébio, May 2022). According to various European and American studies, less than 1% of the global population is affected by allergies caused by cosmetics.

What’s the difference between natural and organic ingredients?

Ingredients of natural origin include natural ingredients, those physically transformed, extracted, or chemically processed according to the principles of green chemistry. This category naturally excludes any ingredients derived from petroleum. Organic ingredients, on the other hand, are natural or naturally derived ingredients cultivated according to the principles of organic farming (AB). They may also come from wild harvesting, provided that the process complies with the regulations governing organic agriculture. The ingredients selected by Phyltres for its natural facial care products come from both of these families.
